Had a great first day of our residency at Attenborough Arts Centre today!
In the morning we had a lovely group of under 5’s from the Leicester University Nursery, who went on an adventure to the antarctic to meet some penguins and then to hunt for treasure on a dessert island. In the afternoon we had a super family group of home educated children who had a busy adventure in ancient Egypt and then to New Zealand to perform a haka. We ended the day with the fantastic ‘Movers’, a group of adults with learning disability from Speakeasy Theatre Company. This talented trio helped us tell some really excellent stories including Peter Pan, Jack in the Bean Stalk and a few from our very own story book.
