We have been lucky enough to have three second year students from Nottingham Trent University undertaking a work placement with us. They took responsibility for planning, sourcing and making the props for some of our destination boxes. The themes they chose were China, Dinosaurs and Space and they were asked to consider the sensory and narrative potential of everything they created. The final products were really fantastic and included moon boots, dinosaur eggs and the most stunning Chinese dragon. The children at Rosehill School have all been enjoying exploring these items and today class 11 helped us with a mini photo shoot so the students could have some super images for their portfolio.
Big thanks to Inmaculada Cook , Isobel Hunt and Bryony Dowell!
