    Everyone knows that the skies above our houses are filled with magic around Christmas time. Look closely and you’ll see the Christmas star, closer still and you might see Santa’s sleigh with Rudolph at the front. But the best way to see everything is up in the sky!

    Join the crew aboard the Christmas Flying Machine on a journey up, up and away. Flap the wings, work the controls and steer the captain’s wheel as we embark on a secret mission for Santa all the way to the North Pole.

    As part of a day of heritage celebrations at Skylarks Nature Reserve, HandMade Theatre will be running three FREE Musical Woodland Workshops. Come along to learn all about British Birds with stories, songs and puppets! HandMade Theatre will be performing in the Weir area of the Attenborough Centre’s ‘Old Site’.     HandMade Theatre will be putting on a special performance of The Flying Machine at Fratton Family Festival, an event organised by Fratton Big Local and the Fratton Traders’ Association. Alongside our performance, the festival will feature more than 30 market stalls as well as live music, a circus workshop and demonstrations from community groups. HandMade will be performing in collaboration with Shake Culture Works; a social enterprise that produces and delivers high quality events and cultural moments.
