Last Saturday, we opened our Christmas show debut for the year, with two sell out performances (!!!) at The Bonington in Arnold, with ‘The Great Christmas Dig’.
We worked incredibly hard behind the scenes, editing and reworking the show from last year, to bring you a new and exciting festive show, with a hilarious and energetic new puppet character, playing the Sprite of Heru. We included loads of interactive songs, with more singing and dancing than ever! The set looked perfect at the venue, with tumbling coloured cloths and rustic suitcases to set the festive mood, and we are hugely appreciative of the theatre blacks for our studio that The Bonington have donated to us. A huge thank you to everyone who came down, and we can’t wait for you to see our other show, The Twelve Birds of Christmas very soon!
We have had lots of lovely feedback so far, and one of our audience members wrote, ‘Congratulations on your show, it was lovely, a proper HandMade production. Charming and full of fun’. If you missed out on this performance, don;t worry! We will be performing ‘The Great Christmas Dig’, again at the Mansfield Library.
Thanks to Anya Kovalieva for the fantastic show photos, she is also a very talented jewellery maker, so check out her handmade goodies on her website Oll The Things.
