For the 3rd year in a row we performed at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in Inverness and what a pleasure it was! We were there for the whole festival, from Thursday the 2nd of August until Saturday the 4th and did eight performances of Too Many Cooks in total. At the festival we were based in the children’s zone and had lots of fun performing! The festival itself was sold out which meant that each show was filled. We even had a few children visit the show multiple times because they couldn’t get enough of it!
Belladrum, noted as the ‘best show in the highlands’, is the farthest that the new van has travelled, a hefty 450 miles approximately! But for the good weather we received and the great time we had, it was more than worth it.
On the way back, we had a chance to stop off at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to sample some of the performances there. It was a lovely way to finish off an active weekend and has made us even more excited for to perform Too Many Cooks at Camper Calling Festival in Warwickshire next weekend!
Too Many Cooks is commissioned by Applause Rural Touring.
